About This Item

Put concerned constituents minds at ease by letting them know it’s nothing personal, nobody can get an answer from Rep. Ryan Zinke unless they’re a lobbyist. After constituents at several town halls asked questions Republican Members of Congress were uncomfortable answering (i.e.: “Is my social security okay?” “Why are you taking away my healthcare while my taxes pay for yours?” “How come a guy who nobody elected is being paid $8 million per day to cut school lunches, cancer research, and bomb-sniffing K9 dogs?”) the NRCC has advised Republicans to stop talking to their constituents at all. Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters anyone at town halls were not constituents but “professional protestors.”
